Cumhurbaşkanı Ersin Tatar, Kuzey Kıbrıs Drag ve Spor Otomobil Derneği tarafından düzenlenen 2021-2022 yılı Şampiyona Ödül Töreni’ne katılarak
Kuzey Kıbrıs Drag ve Spor Otomobil Derneği Başkanı İsmet Tufan ve yönetim kurulu üyelerini düzenlenen şampiyonadan ve ortaya koydukları kararlılık ve çalışmadan dolayı tebrik etti.
Yıllardır büyük ilginin olduğu yarışlara hem ülke gençlerimizden, hem Türkiye, hem Güney Kıbrıs ve diğer ülkelerden katılımcıların yer almasıyla uluslararası bir niteliğe sahip olan yarışlara yönelik drag pisti çalışmalarının sonuç vermesi temennisinde bulundu.
Spor ambargolarına da değinen Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, spor ambargolarının kaldırılması durumunda Kıbrıs Türk sporunun farklı alanlarda ve sosyal etkinliklerde dünyaya çok daha fazla mesajlar verebileceğini söyledi.
Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, “Ortaya konan iradeyi alkışlıyorum. Onların yanında olduğumuzu da söylemek istiyorum” dedi. Yarınki yarışta katılımcı ve izleyicilerle birlikte yaklaşık 4 bin kişinin bir araya geleceğine işaret eden Cumhurbaşkanı Tatar, böyle bir spor etkinliğinin uluslararası boyutuyla ülkemizin tanıtımı açısından önemine dikkat çekti ve yarın düzenlenecek drag yarışına katılacak olanlara başarılar diledi.

On the 21st of November 2021, the President of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC), Ersin Tatar, attended the Championship Awards Ceremony organized by the Northern Cyprus Drag and Sports Car Association.
