DAÜ Güzel Sanatlar Bölümü’nden yıl sonu konseri
Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi (DAÜ) Eğitim Fakültesi Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölümü, Müzik Öğretmenliği Programı yıl sonu etkinliği kapsamında Rauf Raif Denktaş Kültür ve Kongre Sarayı’nda yıl sonu konseri gerçekleştirdi.
Konser açılışında konuşan DAÜ Güzel Sanatlar Eğitimi Bölüm Başkanı Prof. Serdar Çetin Aydar, Müzik Öğretmenliği programı hakkında bilgiler vererek, bölümdeki tüm öğretim üyelerine yıl boyunca verdikleri değerli emeklerden dolayı teşekkürlerini iletti.
DAÜ Eğitim Fakültesi Dekanı Prof. Dr. Ahmet Pehlivan öğretmen yetiştirmenin bir zanaat olduğunu dile getirerek, bunun da uygulama ve usta çırak ilişkisi ile olabileceğini, fakültede de bunu en iyi başaran programın Müzik Öğretmenliği Programı olduğunu vurguladı.
DAÜ Öğrenci İşlerinden Sorumlu Rektör Yardımcısı Prof. Dr. Hüseyin Aktuğlu, KKTC’de yükseköğretimin DAÜ ile başladığını ve 44 yıldır bu alanda emek verildiğini vurguladı. Kalite, çalışma ve dünya standartlarını yakalamayı ilke edindiklerini bildiren Prof. Dr. Aktuğlu, DAÜ’nün KKTC yükseköğretiminin yüz akı olduğunu, ilkleri başardığını ve diğer üniversitelere ışık tuttuğunu aktardı.
Açılış konuşmalarının ardından başlayan konserde öğrenciler Klasik Batı Müziği ve Türk Halk Müziği repertuvarından oluşan solo, oda müziği ve koro eserlerini seslendirdiler.
On the evening of May 19th, 2021, the Fine Arts Department of Eastern Mediterranean University (DAÜ) held its annual year-end concert, showcasing the incredibly talented musicians and artists that make up the department. The concert, held at the DAÜ Rectorate Conference Hall, was a celebration of the hard work, dedication, and artistic vision of the students and faculty of the Fine Arts Department.
The concert featured performances from students in various fields of study, including music, fine art, and graphic design. The evening kicked off with a performance by the DAÜ Chamber Orchestra, who delivered a stunning rendition of Vivaldi’s “Spring” from The Four Seasons. The audience was then treated to a series of vocal performances, including a breathtaking rendition of “Hallelujah” by Leonard Cohen. The Fine Arts Department’s jazz band also had their moment to shine, delivering a rousing performance of Duke Ellington’s “Take the A Train.”
