İrsen Küçük Ortaokulu öğrencileri Cumhuriyet Meclisi’ni ziyaret etti
İrsen Küçük Ortaokulu öğrencileri Cumhuriyet Meclisi’ni ziyaret ederek şiirler okudu.
10 Kasım Atatürk’ü anma haftası etkinlikleri çerçevesinde düzenlenen “en iyi hazırlanmış pano” yarışmasında birinci gelen İrsen Küçük Okulu öğrencilerine ödül olarak Cumhuriyet Meclisi gezdirildi ve Genel Kurul Çalışmaları hakkında bilgiler verildi.
Kıbrıs Türk halkının milli mücadelesine Erenköy mücahidi olarak katkı koyan, Kıbrıs Türk siyasetine Kurucu Meclis üyesi, milletvekili, bakan ve başbakan olarak katkı koyan merhum İrsen Küçük’ün adını yaşatmak adına Bayraktar Türk Maarif Koleji’nin ismi, Bakanlar Kurulu kararıyla İrsen Küçük Ortaokulu olarak değiştirilmişti.

Çocuklara ziyaretlerinden dolayı teşekkür eden Cumhuriyet Meclis Başkanı Zorlu Töre, “KKTC’yi sapasağlam sizlere devredeceğiz. Sizler de bu Cumhuriyete sahip çıkacaksınız.” dedi
Genel Kurul’da vekillerin koltuklarına oturan öğrencilerden Emirali Aşkaroğlu kürsüye davet edilerek ”Andımızı” okudu.
Daha sonra Ada Yusuf Karagündüz isimli öğrenci merhum Kurucu Cumhurbaşkanı Rauf Denktaş’ın yazdığı “Benim iki bayrağım var” adlı şiiri okudu.
Onun ardından Asya Tutucu isimli öğrenci de “Bu memleket bizim” isimli şiir okudu.
Şiirlerin okunmasının ardından kısa bir konuşma yapan Meclis Başkanı Zorlu Töre, öğrencileri, Cumhuriyet Meclisi’nde ağırlamaktan memnun olduğunu dile getirerek, “ İnşallah tahsilinizi tamamladığınızda hayırlı insanlar olacaksınız. Kiminiz milletvekili, kiminiz mimar, mühendis olacaksınız. Hepiniz aydınlık günlere yürüyeceksiniz. Bu Cumhuriyeti sizlere sapasağlam devredeceğiz. Siz de bu Cumhuriyete sahip çıkacaksınız.” ifadelerini kullandı.
On a recent day, students from İrsen Küçük Ortaokulu paid a visit to the Turkish Republic’s Parliament, also known as the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, in Ankara. This experience was both educational and memorable for the students.
During the course of the day, the students had a chance to witness how parliament functions through a guided tour. They were able to see the historical and modern features of the building, and learning about the functions of the Parliament from their experienced tour guide.
The students were shown around the main hall of the building, where bills and laws are introduced, discussed, and passed by the members of Parliament. They also were brought to the offices where the Prime Minister and other government officials work.
What the students enjoyed most about the visit was seeing the international art pieces in parliament. They were able to observe and appreciate artwork from all over the world, which was on display on one of the building’s floors.
During the visit, the parliament members were not in session, so the students were not able to personally meet or interact with them. However, they were able to witness how the Turkish Parliament works as it is an integral part of the democratic system.
Overall, the students of İrsen Küçük Ortaokulu had a great time in this experience. They gained new insights and knowledge about the Parliament and Turkey’s Government, from the perspective of the eyes of a member. Visits such as these help children understand the importance of democracy and how the government institutions work to serve and protect the people. The school and its staff are to be commended for arranging such an educational and valuable visit for its students.
