Türkiye’nin önemli turizm merkezlerinden Kapadokya‘da mart ayında 10 günde 935 sıcak hava balon uçuşu gerçekleştirildi. Mart ayında sadece 10 günde havalanan sıcak hava balonları ile 18 bin 973 yerli ve yabancı turist, bölgenin güzelliklerini kuşbakışı izledi.

Geçen yılın aynı ayında ise 15 gün uçuş yapılabilmiş ve 27 bin 431 turist tura katılmıştı.

Sivil Havacılık Genel Müdürlüğü Kapadokya Slot merkezinin onay verdiği günlerde sabahın erken saatlerinde havalanan sıcak hava balonuna binen turistler peribacalarını, vadileri ve açıkhava müzelerini gökyüzünden görme imkanı buluyor.
