Selçuk Kapsül Hyperloop Takımı, TEKNOFEST’te birincilik ödülü kazandı
Selçuk Üniversitesi Rektörü Prof. Dr. Metin Aksoy, Selçuk Üniversitesi olarak Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi kapsamında yapılan yarışmalara destek verdiklerini söyledi.
Milli Teknoloji Hamlesi kapsamında ortaya konmuş vizyonların devam ettirilmesini kesinlikle önemsediklerinin altını çizen Aksoy, üniversite olarak da bu çalışmaları öncelik sıralamasında ilk sıraya koyduklarını söyledi.
“Hyperloop yeni bir teknoloji”
Aksoy, üniversitenin kazandığı Hyperloop yarışması ile ilgili olarak, “Bu tabii ki yeni bir teknoloji. Hyperloop hızlı raylı sistemin ortaya koymuş olduğu bir teknoloji. Bu teknolojide öncü üniversiteler arasındayız. Geçen sene de birinciliğimiz vardı. Bu sene de yine birinciliğimiz var. Hyperloop teknolojisine katkı sağlayan üniversiteler arasında bulunuyoruz” dedi.
“Öğrencilerimizin desteklendiğini görüyor olması bizler için kıymetli”
Selçuk Üniversitesi olarak öğrencilere devamlı şekilde hayallere yatırım yapmalarını telkin ettiklerini ve onların hayallerini gerçekleştirmesi için çaba gösterdiklerini vurgulayan Aksoy, “Burada derece almak veya belirli birincilikler elde etmekten ziyade öğrencilerimizin kendi projelerimizin desteklendiğini görüyor olması bizler için kıymetli” değerlendirmesinde bulundu.
“5. nesil raylı ulaşım sistemi”
Selçuk Kapsül Hyperloop Takımı üyesi Barış Doğanşah da Hyperloop projelerinin 5. nesil raylı ulaşım sistemi çalışması olduğunu ifade etti. Projenin ray ve hava sürtünmesini önleyerek daha yüksek hızlara ulaşmaya amaçlayan bir proje olduğunu söyleyen Doğanşah, “Dünyada bunun birçok örneği var. Çin’in, İngiltere’nin, Elon Musk’ın yaptığı geliştirme projeleri bulunmakta. Burada amaç teorik olarak 1.200 kilometre saat hızlara çıkmak” dedi.
Selçuk Kapsül Hyperloop Takımı Danışmanı Öğr. Gör. Enes Yücel ise projenin üzerinde çalışması gereken konular içerdiğini ifade ederek, özellikle tünelin vakumlanması ve aracın tünel içinde hareket ederken ses hızına yetişmeye çalışırken karşılaştığı dirençleri yenmesi gibi konuların çalışılması gerektiğini vurguladı.

The Selçuk Kapsül Hyperloop Team, founded by students at Selçuk University, won the first prize at TEKNOFEST, one of Turkey’s largest technology festivals.
