2001 Çanakkale doğumlu olan yakışıklı oyuncu Umut Gezer, Kırklareli’de büyümüştür. Günümüzde İstanbul’da yaşamaktadır. Uluslararası ilişkiler bölümü öğrencisidir.
Oyunculuk eğitimini Sadri Alışık Kültür Merkezinde alan Umut Gezer, Simge Sağın’ın klibinde oynadıktan sonra ilk kez bir dizide rol alarak Yalı Çakını dizisine Yusuf karakteriyle dahil olmuştu.
İyi derece de İngilizce ve Fransızca da bilen Umut Gezer basketbol ve yüzme sporlarını da çok sevmektedir. Tüm bu yeteneklerinin yanı sıra binicilik eğitimi de almıştır.
Yalı Çapkını, one of Turkey’s most popular TV shows, has been a fan-favorite since its first season.
